Terms And Conditions

By booking for any driving course through Ab 10 website you confirm that you agree to the Terms and Conditions stated below: 

 

Non Refundable Booking Fee and Use of Personal Information

1. “Ab 10” will act as as booking agent and introduce you to a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor who will conduct your driving course. "Ab 10" will charge a  non refundable “Booking Fee”  which is payable online depending on the selected course. The booking fee ranges between £249-£299 depending on the course selected. "Ab 10" will book your driving test as part of the booking fee payment.

 

2.For booking purposes, "Ab 10" will require your personal data such as name, contact details (phone number, email address), pick up address, theory test pass certificate number and  provisonal licence number. We have arrangements with third party companies such as "Theory Test Pro ", Approved Driving Instructors and driving test cancellation service providers for which reason your data are required to provide you services.3. All outstanding course Balance Fee must be paid directly to your driving instructor starting from 2 weeks to the start of the course. It is your responsibility to check with your assigned driving instructor their preferred methods of payments.

Course Pick up  and Time Slots

4. You commit to self- study for your theory test online according to the details provided via  TheoryTestPro.co.uk

Pick up location for your training will be within the city unless your instructor offers and agrees  to a different location.

"Ab 10" cannot guarantee availability of specific time slots for your lessons. Your lessons times shall be arranged between you and your assigned driving instructor.

 

Cancellation and Postponement

5. Once a course is booked, your booking fees are not refundable.

It is your responsibility to make sure you are able to commit to the course start date before you book. The booking fee covers placing a booking for the original date only.To effect change to the original booking date or gearboxtype, you will need to pay freshly for another booking fee of £150 and these must be requested no later than 20 working days.

In a situation that you have started your training course and have stopped along the way before completion,  the driving instructor will apply his applicable rate on pay-as-you-go bases to invoice you. 48hrs notice is required for cancellation otherwise you will be charged full payment for the lesson.

 

If you booked a 5 day course and need to add more time, it will be charged at the driving instructor's applicable pay-as-you-go rate. 

If you have booked more hours than required,  for example 40 hours and you need 20 hours,  the driving instructor's applicable rate will be used to work out total amount due.  

Any changes in dates or times you make with your instructor will be as agreed between you and the instructor for your course. “Ab 10" will not be held responsible for any hours lost due to these changes to your original booking. 

Should a pupil stop the training, they will automatically be reverted to pay-as-you-go at the applicable rate currently £45. 

Also, should you terminate your intensive course due to personal reasons or circumstances, you won't be entitled to our free test booking. It is a complimentary integral part of the intensive course.

Legal Requirements

6. You must meet all DVSA legal requirements for learning to drive as stated on DVSA Website: https://www.gov.uk/browse/driving/learning-to-drive 

On the first day of your training you must present a valid Provisional driving licence and Driver Record. Your instructor reserves the right not to continue with the lesson and the lesson time will be lost and will not be  refundable.

If you are unfit to drive under any circumstances or if you do not meet the DVSA legal requirements, your instructor reserves the right not to continue with the lesson and the lesson time will be lost and will not be  refundable. These circumstances include but not limited to being under the influence of drink or drugs at any time. The appropriate law enforcement action might be requested
